We had a great experience with Water Damage pros. Steve was able to come out within an hour or two after I called and laid out a plan for us that made things seem manageable while we were overwhelmed looking at the damage. Everyone we worked with over the time was kind, professional, did what they said and made the process of navigating insurance easier. I would not recommend having water damage but if you do, would recommend calling this company!

Jacob came to do an estimate within 2 hours of my calling. He checked out my crawl space and let me know I didn’t need his services, there wasn’t enough damage. Another company had told me it would be $5,000!
I appreciated his honesty as he explained what I should do. I will call Water Damage Pros again!

Thank you for the quick service you provided. My hot water heaters blew a hose on the top and water sprayed all over the basement for several hours. I had significant water damage in my basement. Jose' Alberto Rosado was my technician. He was kind, helpful and full of empathy for my situation. They arrived the day of the leak, and analyzed what would be needed, brought in 4 dehumidifiers and many high powered fans. The space was drying quickly. The next day they were here tearing out the impacted flooring, baseboards and carpets. I really appreciated the speed and courteous nature of their services.
Jose's was back everyday that week to check on the dehumidifiers and fans. I would definitely recommend them if you find yourself in a wet basement situation.

Jacob ,Cyle, and Jose these men were very professional, very respectful ,very consistent of customer property. Always answer question with so much honesty and respect. One good thing is the company was able to work around my busy work schedule. When I asked them to call before coming and once arrived at my home they respected all my wishes. Steve, Jacob and his team provided an instant quote, did the work, and charged at the very bottom of the pre agreed range. I don't want more water damage, but if it happens they would be who I'd contact.

We had a drain blockage that caused washing machine drain to overflow in basement laundry room. My wife and I managed to vacuum and remove most of the water fairly quickly. I called Water Damage Pros NC to request an assessment of the room and LVP floating floor. Steve arrived promptly the following morning and provided us with all viable options clearly and professionally. We were extremely satisfied and highly recommend Water Damage Pros NC.

Water Damage Pros quickly responded to my call after our laundry flooded. Within an hour, they had installed floor dryers, high powered fans, and humidifiers to dry out any remaining water. Fortunately our hardwood floors were saved. Water Damage pros removed the tile from our laundry room. Technicians were fast and efficient. Steve did a great job of checking in each day and walking me through the process. We’ll be using there services for the restoration process as well.

We're in Greensboro and a repeated drip from the second floor caused water damage that turned into mold in the walls on the first floor. They handled mold removal and drying correctly, and the cleanup was done thoroughly. The area was restored properly, it was a pleasure to work with Steve and the team and ill recommend them to anyone whose seeking a mold removal or water damage restoration company near Greensboro.

Couldn’t speak more highly of my experience with Steve and Water Damage Pros. I had 2 tubs leak that caused water damage to my kitchen and garage ceilings.
The first company I called out told me I’d have to cut out about a 12 foot section of the ceiling in my kitchen, about the same in the garage totaling $2k for the demo and dry out and $4k for the repair.
My experience with the first company wasn’t great to begin with, so after receiving the quote I called Steve in search of a second opinion. He was at my house 20 minutes later and walked me through the best way to cut into the ceiling myself to see if the issue was really that serious. He told me what I should look for, and what the best and worst case scenarios would be, neither of which came close to what the first estimate I received entailed.
That night I spent about an hour cutting a couple small sections out, pulled some of the wet insulation, and Steve texted me the next morning asking how it went and when he could stop by to check it out.
He came back the next day, confirmed everything was dry, and told me I’m good to simply replace the small amount of wet insulation I pulled out, and patch up the holes.
He wouldn’t accept any money for his time, and ultimately saved me nearly $6,000.
100% will be my first call for any future work and would recommend to anyone in the area!

Edit: We had multiple back and forth emails for weeks- trying to get those lines removed, as we kept telling yall that we had documentation (pics) of those inaccuracies. (One example would be the extra dehumidifierS and air moverS in a room that was barely affected and charged 5 days??) No need to save face cause a real review was posted. We paid not because we agreed with the invoice but just to close the whole thing and not interact with your company anymore.
Our experience with Water Damage Pros lacked transparency from the start. Felt like we need to review this company since we fell into the trap of it having 5 reviews on google…. Anyways, we were rushed into signing a contract without being clearly shown or given time to review the full terms, which later appeared to be a blanket agreement protecting the company.
After equipment was installed, the estimate increased (2x the original estimate), made me resign the form after they installed the equipment- which gave us no choice to continue with them. Then, their final invoice ended up being more than double the original estimate. The final bill also included charges for work that was not actually performed and pricing that third-party adjusters identified as inaccurate and “altered pricing”.
We were instructed to allow work that was “reasonable and necessary” for mitigation, which we relied on in good faith for Water Damaged Pros to do. However, several services were later deemed not covered by insurance, including asbestos testing on a home built in 2003, which we were required to pay out of pocket. This could have been avoided with clearer disclosure upfront.
Our advice: confirm every service in writing, probably read their contact since they have shady t&c. Don't sign any estimate that will hold you with the remaining cost and have more input with the t&c- don’t rely to their “don't worry you’re just going to pay your deductible” - cause you will not…

No one ever expects a water damage incident to happen to them, to hit their home. Most people are inherently careful, always turning off the faucets and making sure drains are working. We were certainly not an exception to the rule, yet I still remember hearing my pregnant wife scream moments after we all walked through the door, coming home after her doctor's appointment. Water was coming down from the ceiling and I ran upstairs to the laundry room to shut it off. Unfortunately our washing machine had broken again and this time caused such catastrophic damage to our home.
After submitting a claim with our insurance and their "preferred" vendor failed to call or show up within the promised 4 hour window, I started searching for alternatives. I read through reviews and quickly settles on Water Damage Pros NC. I gave them a call immediately and despite being after hours, the owner Steve picked up immediately and took time from his life to listen to our story. The next morning he and his crew showed up bright and early to start evaluation and wasting no time on damage mitigation. He and his crew were friendly and reassuring in helping us navigate this situation. I can't thank them enough for their hard work to help limit the damage and bring restoration to our home. The other vendor did not even call us until Water Damage Pros had been working 2 days in our home, once again assuring us that we had definitely made the right decision.
Once everything was dried, Steve referred us to their partner NC Drywall who did an amazing job repairing our home!
